Kent Stone – Associate Deputy Comptroller for the Southern District Office; OCC

Kent Stone has been the Associate Deputy Comptroller for the Southern District Office of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) since October 2016. As Associate Deputy Comptroller, Mr. Stone oversees the operations of nine OCC field offices and a staff of examiners, technicians, and support personnel. Before this position, Mr. Stone was the Assistant Deputy Comptroller for the Charlotte field office for ten years.
Mr. Stone began his career with the OCC in 1987 as an Assistant National Bank Examiner in Longview, Texas. He was commissioned as a National Bank Examiner in 1992 and as a Federal Thrift Regulator in 2013. Mr. Stone has held numerous positions within the OCC, including Field Examiner, Analyst, Training Team Leader, and Problem Bank Specialist.
Mr. Stone is a 1986 graduate of Texas State University with a bachelor of business administration degree in computer information systems.
